Ian Somerhalder Arrives at LAX Ahead of Comic-Con

Getting ready to fly over to San Diego, Ian Somerhalder arrived at LAX International Airport on Thursday afternoon (July 24).
The “Vampire Diaries” hunk is set to promote his CW show during this year’s Comic-Con International alongside co-stars Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley.
The encounter could be a little bit awkward since there are new relationship rumors regarding Ian and his ex-girlfirend Nina’s old pal.
Earlier this week, Somerhalder strolled around a local farmer’s market with “Twilight” hottie Nikki Reed. When Ian was still dating Nina and Nikki was still married to Paul McDonald, the four used to double date.
Though it’s still unsure if Ian and Nikki are an item, they looked pretty cozy during their casual afternoon out together.

Tara Reid Talks "Sharknado 2" in GQ: “You Know, It Actually Can Happen."

Last summer, "Sharknado" took the world by storm for it's awesomely bad production value. SyFy’s made-for-TV flick is coming back for round two and the cast is chatting with GQ magazine's August 2014 issue about a few crucial survival tips they learned on set.
Tara Reid, Vivica A. Fox, Mark McGrath, Kari Wuhrer and Ian Ziering struck a pose for Ture Lillegraven and chatted about filming the destruction sequel, which is shot in New York City this time around.
The "American Pie" actress was asked whether a sharknado can actually happen, and her reply is pretty surprising.
“You know, it actually can happen. I mean, the chances of it happening are very rare, but it can happen actually. Which is crazy. Not that it—the chances of it are, like, you know, it's like probably ‘pigs could fly.’ Like, I don't think pigs could fly, but actually sharks could be stuck in tornados. There could be a sharknado.”

Justin Theroux in ELLE August 2014: Press Makes "Every Celebrity Look Like a Schizophrenic"

During promotions for his HBO series “The Leftovers,” Justin Theroux scored a feature in the August 2014 issue of ELLE magazine.
While chatting with the publication, Jennifer Aniston's hunky fiancé opened up to writer Willa Paskin about the pesky tabloids and his dramatic series.
“My life changed a lot,” Justin said about his life since dating Jennifer. “More people are like, ‘Hey, man!’ And I don’t think that’s from my role in John Adams. But it only changed as much as I engaged with it, and I learned very quickly: Don’t ever engage with it. Just JKL.”
“It was a learning curve, but it wasn’t as traumatic as you might expect. It’s just annoying. Occasionally you’ll get a stewardess congratulating you, on, I don’t know, whatever, some three-headed baby we just had.”
And Theroux’s biggest issue with the celebrity press is its lack of storytelling skills. “I can’t get over how terrible the narrative is, just how poorly written it is.”
Justin continued, “It’s worse than a telenovela. It’s so dramatic. Like, ‘They’re broken up, they’re together, they’re storming out, storming in, rushing out, rushing in.’ They make every celebrity look like a schizophrenic.”

Kanye West in GQ August 2014: You Need Some Kim K Skills to Win at Life

He’s had quite an astonishing year with his marriage to reality queen Kim Kardashian and a successful world tour, and now Kanye West is sitting pretty on the cover of GQ magazine’s August 2014 issue.
After posing in a collection of Calvin Klein, Balmain, Timberland and Michael Kors for the Patrick Demarchelier-shot spread, the Yeezus star chatted about his marriage to Kim and rumors regarding Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z's absence at their big day.
Check out highlights from Kanye’s interview below and for more, head over to GQ!
On being a blowfish:
"Yeah. I'm a blowfish. I'm not a shark, I'm a blowfish. So that perfect example about me hitting my head, it's like a blowfish. I wasn't coming out of my house going to a paparazzi's house to attack them. I'm defending my family in front of my own house. I'm defending my name as someone's screaming something negative at me. That's a blowfish. People have me pinned as a shark or a predator in some way, and in no way am I that. I wouldn't want to hurt anyone. I want to defend people. I want to help people."
On tabloids claiming Jay-Z and Beyonce didn't show at his wedding because of Kim and her family:
"All that, I wouldn't even speak on. It doesn't even matter to me whatsoever, who would show up. Because the most important person to show up there, to me, was Kim. And that's all that matters to me. I had to fight for that for seven years. But the fact that these other people showed up that are from such different worlds but have done such dynamic things? They're all, in a way, equal to what Kim has done in TV or what I had done in music. I was so moved that I just wanted people to stop and think they weren't sitting at a table full of fashion people, they weren't sitting at a table full of celebrities, they weren't sitting at a table full of movie directors. It really was a representation of the way we receive information today, post-Internet."
On marrying Kim:
"I feel like you're stronger as a team. Because when you know you have a team player, it's not one on the world anymore. At least it's two on the world."
On what he's learned from Kim:
"One of the reasons why I think that me and Kim are very powerful together isn't just the concept of celebrity or this mega rap star and this mega-beautiful pop star. It's something I explain to my girl: She is who she is. I am who I am. We have advisers and friends and everything, but those people are who they are and we are who we are. And what I had to learn from Kim is how to take more of her advice and less of other people's advice. There's a lot of Kim K skills that were added. In order to win at life, you need some Kim K skills, period."

Rachel Bilson Reportedly Expecting a Baby Girl

They’re about to add a lot of pink into their household because Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen are reportedly expecting a baby girl.
According to People, sources shared that the couple is getting ready to welcome a little princess into the world.
A rep for Bilson denies the report and calls the source’s claim “speculation and gossip.”
This isn’t surprising since the “Hart of Dixie” star and her “Star Wars” beau have remained very quiet on the pending parenthood. Neither of the actors or their reps have confirmed the news at this time.

Blake Lively in Vogue August 2014: “I Burned My Wedding Dress”

Landing on the cover of the most coveted fashion magazine, Blake Lively dished about her new lifestyle brand in the August 2014 issue of Vogue magazine.
After posing for the outdoor shoot with Mario Testino, the “Gossip Girl” beauty chatted about criticism she received from Preserve and how Martha Stewart saved her wedding with Ryan Reynolds.
Check out highlights from Blake’s interview below and for more, head over to Vogue!
On how Preserve is different from Goop:
"[I'm] not trying to show you the perfect life or the aspirational life. It’s real life. It’s the thing that blindsides you on an idle Tuesday that’s tragic but that also makes you who you are. It’s not about me. And it’s not about watching my journey of learning how-to, it’s about me sharing that with you so we all sort of learn together."
On getting criticized for Preserve:
"I’m sure there will be plenty of people who will say horrible things. I’m sure this interview will be picked apart. But you can’t worry about it. There have been so many things written about me that are untrue and horrifying. [. . .] People like to gossip. They bond over it. They don’t bond over complimenting famous people. I’m always the first person to defend Gwyneth Paltrow. Or any woman in a position of power, like Martha Stewart or Oprah, who gets burned. Because they have paved the path for so many other women who are doing something they believe in."
On Martha Stewart saving her wedding:
"Our wedding was becoming a disaster, and we didn’t know what to do, so we called Martha! She said, ‘Don’t worry. I’ll handle it.’ She sent her team down to save us."
On burning her wedding dress:
"Florence Welch was singing at the reception, and they brought out these sparklers, and I’m watching her sing. I look down and my wedding dress has a big burn mark from one of the sparklers. Right on the front! And it was just so heartbreaking to me."
On Ryan Reynolds lifting her spirits after the burn:
"He said, 'You’ll always remember that moment with Florence [Welch] singing and the sparklers. You have that forever, right there, preserved.' Now that’s my favorite part of the dress."
On Ryan getting involved with Preserve:
"He’s a part of it because everything we do in life we do together. If I’m working on a movie, he helps me with my character; I do the same with him. [. . .] He’s a beautiful writer — he’s written a lot of stuff for us. And he’s got a great barometer and he knows me, so he will tell me if it’s not as good as it can be."

Nina Dobrev in Nylon August 2014: I Try to Be Kind to Everyone, Including My Exes!

During promotions for her upcomning comedy "Let's Be Cops," Nina Dobrev took a beat to cover the August 2014 issue of Nylon magazine.
During her chat with the fashionable publication, the "Vampire Diaries" babe opened up about how she treats her ex-boyfriends and what it's like transitioning into a funny role.
Check out highlight's from Nina's interview below and for more, head over to Nylon!
On being kind to all, including her exes:
"I don't like any kind of negativity. I try to be good to everyone, whether it's a love, a friend, an ex. I'll always try to treat people the way I want to be treated."
*Nina's ex, Ian Somerhalder, told the mag in reply to this statement - "She always lets me have the last fry."
On being famous:
“People feel like they know you when you’re in their living room, weekly, for five years. But I always get uncomfortable when people know more about me than I know about them.”

On fashion:
“I was not a girly-girl growing up…I liked fashion, but I wasn’t very fashion savvy. I didn’t always have all the best outfits…For a while there, we actually shopped at The Salvation Army.”
On dressing up for the red carpet:
“It doesn’t feel real because I don’t live in that world. When I go to those events, I’m in town specifically for that, and then I leave later that night. I’ve maybe stayed for the after-party once, ever. It still feels like I’m a fan, in a way. A lot of people are very cynical and very jaded, but I’m not there yet.”
On acting in a comedy:
“It’s terrifying. I can get to an emotional place and start crying, but there’s pressure when you think you have to be funny…You really have to be uninhibited and fearless.”

David Beckham Brings Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whisky to Market

He has his hands in so many project these days, but David Beckham's tastiest venture is definitely his new Haig Club whisky.
The English soccer legend got together with his pal Simon Fuller and liquor giant Diageo for the new spirit, now on sale at select retailers in London for $77 per bottle.
And while many enthusiasts are eager to try the Haig Club Single Grain Scotch Whisky, there’s a small contingent of folks who are publicly criticizing the new initiative.
UK activist group Alcohol Concern stated, “It’s incredibly disappointing that David Beckham, a global icon who has wide appeal to children has chosen to use his sports star image to promote spirits. Given David Beckham’s other roles promoting sport and a healthy lifestyle to children, we believe this will send a confusing message to them about the dangers of alcohol and its impact on a healthy lifestyle, and we call on the star to rethink his association with this product.”

“True Blood” Stars Anna Paquin & Stephen Moyer: “Meet the Cast” Mates in SoHo

They make quite the cute couple both on and off screen, and last night (July 15) Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer teamed up for a special “Meet the Cast” event in New York City.
Both in good spirits, the “Almost Famous” babe and her “Priest” hubby fielded questions at the Apple Store in SoHo to plug the new season of “True Blood.”
Viewers were shocked when Anna’s character Sookie’s love interest Alcide, played by Joe Manganiello, was killed off earlier this season.
Mr. Manganiello told press, “I called it as soon as [Sookie and Alcide] got together [in the Season 6 finale]. As soon as I read that they were together, the first thing I thought was, ‘They're going to kill him’... As soon as that happened, I went, ‘Aw man, this is not going to last long.’”

Sheryl Crow: “I Would Love To Get Married”

She’s a nine-time Grammy winner and the proud mama of two adopted boys so life is pretty rich (and busy) for Sheryl Crow.
The “If It Makes You Happy” songstress covers the August 2014 issue of Good Housekeeping magazine and in her interview she opens up about her personal life.
Sheryl shares, "I had always gone out with guys who were highly successful, which would seem like it would put me at an equal level. But what ends up happening is that one of you becomes smaller — and it was always me. It's always the woman. I mean, I don't know if it's always the woman, but I do think that sometimes in order for one person's light to shine, everyone else has to dim theirs."
Still, she’s open to tying the knot with the right guy- "I would love to get married — I'm still old-fashioned. But I don't think marriage is the be-all and end-all. It's better to have three broken engagements than three divorces."
As for her two adopted boys Wyatt and Levi, Crow gushes, "They understand that they came out of different tummies. But they also believe, as do I, that God put us together. They know how blessed I am to get to be their mommy. So when they're mad that I won't let them play video games, I say, 'God put me in charge. I'm raising you-all the best that I can, and some decisions are not fun.' "
And career-wise, Sheryl doesn’t love the state of the recording industry- "It's hard to be a woman in music today. There's so much sex that's projected, and that's a bummer. These singers talk about how empowering it is, but a good musician who can command the stage doesn't have to rely on sex to sell her music."

Lana Del Rey Covers Rolling Stone: “I Feel F*cking Crazy”

With a new album on the market and plenty of interest in her ever-changing love life, Lana Del Rey is a hot topic of conversation these days.
The “Summertime Sadness” singer is on the cover of the new issue of Rolling Stone, cuddling up to her furry feline friend.
Del Rey described her current state of mind- "Well, I feel f*cking crazy. But I don't think I am. People make me feel crazy. I find that most people I meet figure I kind of want to kill myself anyway. So, it comes up every time."
As for the controversy surrounding some of her lyrics, Lana declared, "I just don't want them to hear it at all. I'm very selfish. I make everything for me, kind of. I mean, every little thing, down to the guitar and the drums. It's just for me… I don't want them to hear it and think about it. It's none of their business!"
And of course, Miss Del Rey’s notorious “Saturday Night Live” performance came up- "It wasn't dynamic, but it was true to form.”

Lindsay Lohan is Ravishing in Red at the Ischia Film Fest Gala

She certainly knows how to get attention, and last night (July 15) Lindsay Lohan had all the guys drooling at the Ischia Film Festival Awards Dinner Gala in Ischia, Italy.
The “I Know Who Killed Me” cutie showed off her stellar figure in a lovely red dress with matching heels as she made her rounds at the Mezzatorre Resort and Spa.
Thankfully, LiLo managed to stay on her feet during the event, unlike her embarrassing spill the previous evening.
Meanwhile, Lindsay told the BBC that she’s considering a move to London- "I think I am making the move to come over here...I've noticed when I'm watching the news here and such, you guys have such a different outlook. In the U.S., starting at 5 p.m., it's TMZ and all of these shows that are just talking about people's personal lives that are in the industry. Here, I don't notice any of that. It's more news and politics and music. It feels really good to be able to turn on the TV and not see everything be about gossip."

Nick & Vanessa Lachey Expecting Baby Girl!

While his ex-wife Jessica Simpson dotes around in all her newlywed glory, Nick Lachey made a big announcement of his own on Tuesday (July 15).

The former 98 Degrees bandmate took to Twitter to reveal that he and his wife Vanessa are expecting their second child. “Can’t think of a better way to celebrate 3 years of marriage to my beautiful Vanessa than this,” Nick wrote along with a photo of his son Camden running on the beach around a heart in the sand that reads, “It’s a girl.”

Nick and Vanessa welcomed their first child together 22 months ago, and gushed to People magazine last November about the joys of being parents. "We’re incredibly blessed," Nick explained, calling parenthood “the most amazing experience you could ever go through.”

In addition, the 40-year-old singer said that he did want a little princess to join his brood. “I do want a girl. I think there’s something emotional about having a daughter that I definitely want to experience."

Anna Kendrick in Glamour August 2014: My Appearance Has "Never Been My Moneymaker"

Say what you want about her “Twilight” roots, but Anna Kendrick has more than proven herself as one of the most butt-kicking gals in Tinseltown.
In her new Glamour magazine feature, the “Pitch Perfect” star explains why this year is the busiest one of her life so far.
On managing back-to-back projects:
“It’s really fun. It’s like eating Cheerios every morning and then switching to Froot Loops. It’s exciting to eat Froot Loops!”
On her “Dongs All Over the World” Saturday Night Live digital short:
“There was a moment when they worried it was too provocative. But even though it’s silly, there’s a pro-sex, feminist message in it somewhere. Like, if Justin Timberlake gets to say ‘D*ck in a Box,’ then we get to say, ‘Dongs All Over the World.’”
On her appearance:
“The thing is, my appearance – that’s never been my moneymaker. I’m fine being small. I’m fine being all the things I am. And I’m happy I’m not supposed to be on the 50 Most Beautiful list all the time, because that would be super f**king stressful.”
On the complications of Hollywood life:
“Sometimes I just want to wear the same outfit for three days in a row. And I kind of can’t.”
Anna Kendrick (@AnnaKendrick47) decodes her tweets for Glamour:
The tweet: “Thought for the day: If I were going to take a naked picture of myself, I would…clean my room first.”
The backstory: “So I go on Reddit and invariably end up clicking on ‘GoneWild’ posts. It’s always girls taking naked pictures in the mirror, and their room behind them is a disaster. If I were a guy, I would not be turned on. I would be like, ‘Make your bed!’”
The tweet: “Someone just looked at my food selection and said, ‘Aw, good for you.’ If she goes missing, I’ve been at home all day.”
The backstory: “You know when you order pasta and somebody says, ‘Good for you’? It’s this passive-aggressive underhanded compliment. I should be secure enough not to let it bother me, but I was like, ‘What the f--k is that supposed to mean?’”

Sandra Bullock Came Face-to-Face with Stalker Outside Bedroom

Enormous fame can unfortunately bring about some scary situations. When fans get overly obsessed, they may go to great lengths to meet their favorite star and Sandra Bullock knows all too well what that type of situation looks like.
In a newly obtained document, we learn that the Oscar-winning actress' home intruder Joshua Corbett waited outside the star's bedroom when he trespassed inside her home last month.
According to TMZ, the police report that Sandra heard a loud noise inside her home at approximately 1 a.m. When she went to shut her bedroom door, she saw Corbett standing in the hallway, wearing dark clothes. Bullock slammed and locked her door before calling 911. She informed law enforcement that she had showered before going to bed, and that Corbett may have been in her house the entire time.
When police arrived, Corbett reportedly said, "Sandy, I’m sorry! Please don’t press charges.” When he was taken into custody, officers found a notebook with magazine pictures of the brunette beauty and a handwritten note that read, “I will forever be thinking of you and Louie, my son, as you are my wife by law, the law of God and you belong to me and me to you.”

Cameron Diaz Slams “Sex with Drew Barrymore” Rumors in Harper's Bazaar August 2014: She’s Like My Sister!

She knew that confessing to getting it on with other women would ignite a flurry of speculation, but Cameron Diaz was a little surprised by some of the conclusions reached by the tabloids.
While chatting with Harper's Bazaar, the “Sex Tape” starlet declared, "I don’t even pay attention. People will always speculate. People like scandal. They like to put a label on something that they don’t understand. It makes them feel comfortable.”
Still, even the sexually-liberated Diaz couldn’t stomach the thought of having carnal relations with her “Charlie’s Angels” costar/BFF Drew Barrymore.
"Some media outlet called for a comment and they wanted to know whether I was with Drew. Literally, I said, ‘That makes me want to vomit in my mouth. That’s like saying I’m having sex with my sister. Are you crazy? I wouldn’t even ménage with her!"
"Everybody tries things and sees things and checks them out, and either walks away or walks further in. It's life--it's what people do. I'm not going to tell people what I've done, but I'm also not going to say, 'No! I would never!' If I said that, I'd be shaming myself and shaming other people's choices. I don't want to add any stigma to someone's choice."
