Celebrating the feminine side of Tinseltown, Vanity Fair recruited a dozen darling dames for the 22nd annual Hollywood Issue, coming to newsstands February 8th.

Viola Davis, Jane Fonda, Cate Blanchett and Jennifer Lawrence have the esteemed honor of appearing on the main cover, joined by Charlotte Rampling, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Helen Mirren, Saoirse Ronan, Diane Keaton, Rachel Weisz, Brie Larson and Lupita Nyong'o.

Vanity Fair’s fashion and style director Jessica Diehl explains, “The dresses on the cover are all black because that lets each actress’s face stand out—faces that are expressive, and in many cases even transformative.”
